Bespoke worktops need decisions before templating

Made-to-measure worktops can look excellent, but they leave less room for late changes. The sink, hob, tap, overhangs and joins should all be agreed before templating.

Checklist

  • Confirm material thickness, edge profile and finish.
  • Decide sink type, drainer grooves and tap hole positions.
  • Check appliance instructions for hob and ventilation clearances.
  • Agree where joins will sit.
