Clean the parts that hold residue

Smells often come from detergent drawers, door seals, filters and low-temperature wash build-up. Regular cleaning keeps the machine fresher and helps spot leaks early.

Steps

  1. Clean the detergent drawer and housing.
  2. Wipe the door seal folds and remove trapped debris.
  3. Check the filter only if you can safely catch water.
  4. Run a maintenance wash using the manufacturer guidance.
  5. Leave the door and drawer open to dry.

Safety note

Stop if you find damaged cables, leaks near electrics, burning smells or repeated error codes. Use a qualified repairer when needed.
