Method

  1. Set up supports before plants need them.
  2. Sow peas in rows or plant seedlings around the support.
  3. Water well and protect young shoots from pests if needed.
  4. Guide tendrils onto netting or canes as they grow.
  5. Pick pods regularly to keep plants producing.

Common Mistakes

Adding support too late can snap stems. Letting pods mature too long reduces sweetness and slows new flowers.
