Many kitchen sink problems start when the sink, tap, waste, cabinet and worktop are chosen separately. This checklist helps you avoid clashes.
Check before buying
- Base unit width and internal cabinet obstructions.
- Tap hole count, tap reach and window clearance.
- Waste outlet position, trap space and appliance waste connections.
- Worktop material and whether specialist cutting is needed.
- Water pressure, isolation valves and future maintenance access.
