What to Keep in a Small Home Toolbox

A small home toolbox should help with the jobs that actually happen: tightening, measuring, hanging, assembling and making simple repairs. The best kit is compact, easy to find and built around repeated use.

Start with measuring

Keep a tape measure, pencil and small spirit level together. These three stop many jobs from becoming crooked or guessy.
